Fried chicken sandwich was good, but seemed to lack a bit, mainly of spicy. Expected it would be hot with the ghost pepper ranch but even with extra on the side for it didn't make a difference and wasn't hot at all. Should have tried the Cubano recommended instead

The young man who served us today was so welcoming and polite, great service. 10/10 for service, this business is lucky to have him. The sandwich and fries were delicious. Indoor and a little outdoor seating. Bathrooms were clean. Will be back for sure.

It’s a great place for sandwiches with seating inside the beautiful Lark restaurant. We went on a cold Saturday around 1230 and we’re easily able to grab a seat. The fried chicken sandwich is delicious as is the burrata salad. Kids and adults enjoyed it. It was fun to sit at the window and stay warm while enjoying good food.

These are some of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. They grill the inside of the bread so it's crispy and a little burnt, leaving the outside bread soft and somewhat chewy but not dense. Honestly best sandwiches ever. We tried them all even the burrata sandwich which can be very boring was delicious. Yummy balsamic vinegar, scrumptious mozzarella fresh basil. Just yummy! The Cubano is fantastic! The pork is roasted, soft, not try at all, with the pickles...yum! The service is great. Recommendations are perfect. The atmosphere is very simple nothing special but the fantastic food makes up for that.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now, as the old location used to be across from my workplace. Fortunately, their new location is just a 5 minute walk away! My favorite thing here is the brisket sandwich. I love how juicy it is with the sauce, peppers, and marinated brisket. It’s just so yummy! There used to be a cashier that was the absolute sweetest to me, who always included a salted chocolate chip cookie with my order. Even now, without that particular person, I can tell their customer service is excellent & attentive. If you need a quick lunch during your work break, they’re super quick with the sandwiches, too! There’s something special about a good sandwich — so simple, few ingredients / toppings, and yet, so filling & delicious. Will continue to come back, again & again. Appreciate y’all at Slab!

Ever since Scratch on 12th closed down I’ve been on the hunt for place that makes sandwiches as good as they did, and I think I finally found it. Much like Scratch, the sandwiches seem a bit small at first, but one bite and…omg the flavors. It’s well balanced, and by the time you’re done you’re full because the meat portions are juicy and generous. It passes my Chipotle test - worth the flavor and not leaving me hungry with a list price around $15. I plan to try every sandwich they have, but the two I’ve gotten to were excellent. Thick, juicy meat, balanced and flavorful sauces and other items, and soft bread that completes the taste and feel. I even got a free cookie. I’m not much of fan of cookies, but this one continued the trend of being well balanced (and well salted), and everyone I shared it with enjoyed it. The shop itself it just a counter and a drink fridge, no real place to sit. It works, it’s nice, but plan to take it to go. I will be back here as often as I can, tho probably not as often as I’d like as they’re only open for lunch.

Absolutely delicious Cubano sandwich. Highly highly recommend. Cool spot connected to a restaurant where they allow you to dine at the bar. Kind employee. But the sandwich was so so so good.

Nestled in Seattle’s vibrant 10th Avenue, Slab Sandwich is a gem for anyone seeking a masterclass in sandwich craftsmanship. This spot excels in delivering bold flavors wrapped in perfectly grilled bread—crispy on the inside with a soft, chewy exterior that creates an ideal texture contrast. The attention to detail is evident, whether you’re biting into their renowned 12-hour brisket or savoring the rich, comforting Cubano with its tender roasted pork and tangy pickles.

The culinary craft doesn’t stop at meat. Slab Sandwich’s burrata sandwich offers a surprising twist on a usually plain ingredient, harmonizing fresh mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar into a fresh, vibrant bite. Complementing the food, their Sicilian blood orange lemonade provides a refreshing, citrusy balance that cuts through the richness of the mains.

Service at Slab Sandwich stands out just as much as the food. The staff are warm and welcoming, elevating the dining experience with genuine hospitality. The environment, simple yet inviting, located inside the charming Lark restaurant, offers a cozy retreat from Seattle’s chill—whether you choose indoor seating or a spot outside.

While some might wish for a spicier kick in their fried chicken sandwich, the overall flavor profile remains well-rounded and satisfying. The combination of great service, clean and comfortable surroundings, and meticulously crafted sandwiches makes Slab Sandwich a compelling destination for both locals and visitors craving quality and heart in every bite.
